I was always keen to learn about the function of how furniture is made and operates. Having lived in Monaghan I moved to Belfast and worked in component design within the furniture industry. I always knew I could do more with this passion and really that’s when Sharon and I decided to found Fusion Robes in 2013 and what contributes to the success of the business.
Nothing you ask for can’t be done, due to our extensive background we know how to manufacture a design that’s completely different from anyone else and find custom solutions for our clients homes.
We believe this is what make’s Fusion Robes really special.
After completing my degree in 3D design in University, I headed on a solo adventure traveling the USA + Canada before returning home to work in a Kitchen & Bedroom manufacturing component company. During my design studies, I was always interested, in Kitchens and Bedrooms and always had a passion to learn more about sliding wardrobes within the company. I quickly became an expert, displaying a natural talent and passion for the design and function of bedroom designs/ wardrobes.
Then the realization came, that instead of working behind the scenes in a manufacturing role, we could offer customers a lot more expertise than what was readily available on the market.
The decision to open Fusion Robes meant we could offer services directly to customers.
One of the best things about Fusion Robes is our team, we all really enjoy a challenge. Our wardrobe storage systems are as bespoke as they come, nothing is off-the-shelf and when we come up against a design specification that’s complex we both strive to find that more forward-thinking solution & thanks to over 20 years of experience we are always eager and able to deliver exactly what the customer wants.
Fusion Robes newly refurbished showroom is located in East Belfast – featuring 12 new displays for 2022/23.

Having decided to open Fusion Robes Sharon and Marcus choose a prime location on Castlereagh Road – which has great significance – having met in the same area, and both Marcus and Sharon’s grandparents originate from the Castlereagh area.
As a family-run business, we are very proud to be based in the area where we learned about our own family values and the history of family life in Belfast.
We also felt there was a lack of bedroom companies located in the outskirts areas Belfast. Being located in East Belfast offers a fast route to Castlereagh, Ravenhill but equally, we have an easy route for customer in Libirn, Newtownabbey, Holywood or Dundonald.
We welcome customers from throughout Northern Ireland and the area has on-street parking also.
We are a small business with 8 members of staff which allows us to offer customers a dedicated and personal service. We are invited into our customers homes and we want them to feel a loyal and trusting service.
Our fitters are all direct employees of Fusion Robes, we don’t outsource. This allows us to have complete control over the products we produce and the service we provide from design right down to the installation and aftercare of our customers.
